What you'll be able to do after working through the material:

Play and read...

- All notes on all 4 strings within 1st position (the starting orientation along the fingerboard)

- All flat and sharp variants of notes, know when and what to do to get to those variants of notes

- Rhythms including quarter, half, whole, eighth, 16th, and dotted notes and rests

- Bowings including down/up bows, hooked bowings, and slurs

- 4th finger notes alternatives to open strings

These skills are most useful for:

- Being equipped to sight read and play any notes you may run into within the 2-ish octave range of the 1st position of the violin

- Being able to independently pick up sheet music for most song arrangements online and be able to sight read them yourself

Roadmap:

- Remove extra accidentals that are no longer accurate due to a change in frame teaching philosophy that occurred during the transition from the beta stages of development to the current release (Base frame is 1 & 2 fingers being grouped, instead of 2 & 3)

- Further smooth out the learning curve and difficulty leaps between levels and pages by keeping levels 1 and 2 easier to get into without the need to be thorough with practice of previous pages.
